Stone and paper: Chaud tables by Charlotte Jonckheer

Designer Charlotte Jonckheer presented two bedside tables called Chaud. The same name was given to the composite material invented by the author of the project. Charlotte has long studied the properties of the stone, and eventually decided to do something like this: strong and with similar characteristics. The designer used paper pulp and stone dust, mixed and pressed, getting wet sheets. After the material has dried, it has become as durable as stone, but much more pleasant and soft to the touch.
