Steampunk sculptures in the form of spiders and crabs are created by the Romanian artist Peter Szuksu. In addition to making the mechanical creatures themselves, he surrounds them with the appropriate environment - cobwebs, seaweed.

Externally, the products of the Romanian artist are graceful sculptures on graceful paws. And, despite their natural threat to bite and pinch, Peter Szuksu's spiders and crabs are very cute. Hinged paws, belly with gears, spring mustache - everything looks sophisticated.

For his products, the Romanian master uses vintage watches. More precisely, their details. He finds them at flea markets, sales of broken parts. Sometimes friends and acquaintances simply bring them to him.

Of course, Peter Szuksu first tries to restore vintage watches. But if this does not work out, then he connects his imagination and begins to create. One steampunk creature takes him about a few weeks to work on. This is due to the miniature size of the future spider or crab.

Peter Szuksu chose these arthropods because of his passion for the animal world. In particular, he was interested in spiders and crabs since childhood. Collected books, postcards, newspaper and magazine clippings. He even tried to paint them. But it was the steampunk sculptures of these creatures that brought him success.
