The new collection of furniture items was presented by one of the Milan design studios. The 1970s-inspired products were presented at a citywide festival in Milan.
The lineup consisted of tables and sofas, decor and decoration items,
cutlery and crockery. The materials chosen were plastic, nylon, marble and glass.
Each piece was created locally by Milanese artisans. The authors of the collection wanted to show that even in modern conditions it is possible to turn to techniques invented back in the 60-70s of the last century. Moreover, the created pieces of furniture and finishes are in no way inferior to modern ideas. They will even look more authentic.
The designers looked for inspiration for creating pieces of furniture in sci-fi films, ancient rituals, and various trends in art. As for the latter, they concentrated precisely on postmodernism - working with plexiglass and iron.
It is currently unknown whether the collection will be on sale. So far, these are only exhibition exhibits, on the basis of which personal orders can be made.
