Painting on fabric is not only an exciting hobby, but also a way to decorate your clothes in an unusual way. Agree, huge peonies or fantastic dragons look pretty interesting.

The methods used for painting fabric are different. But, as a rule, three are considered the simplest - the use of ordinary paints with water, decoupage techniques and drawing with a stencil.

Using a stencil is considered one of the easiest ways to paint fabric. The images are extremely clear and accurate. It is enough to use a self-adhesive film on which the drawing has been pre-cut. Its main advantage is that there are no streaks or smeared outlines on the finished work.

Paints with water are applied to the ready-made template or without it. It can be gouache or oil. In some cases, watercolor is used. But there must be a snow-white "canvas" here.

For lovers of decoupage, a standard set is useful - varnish-glue, synthetic brushes and special napkins. First, glue is applied to a dry cloth, and then a picture is transferred with a brush. After drying, the finished image can be corrected with paints.

Enthusiasts note that the choice of painting method, first of all, depends on personal preference.
