Design studios in Sweden have created collections of household items from industrial waste. This work was carried out as part of a large-scale project.
Studio specialists have developed
flower pots and clamps for indoor plants from woodworking industry waste. In particular, from the plaque that remained after pressing the juice in juicers. It is assumed that all items can be decomposed.
Also, a special building material from waste paper was invented. It was based on cellulose fibers. These products are recyclable.
Among the innovative developments of Swedish designers were also presented pedestals in the style of Roman architecture from ash.
The essence of the project was the collaboration of six designers with various companies in the country. They had to create safe recyclable products that can be used in the home.
The main goal of the project was to show that secondary raw materials can be used not only in the traditional way. But also within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation between companies from different fields.
Specialized centers for the study of such materials are already being set up in Sweden. They should give the country's industry a new vision in matters of materials science.
