The lamp, which resembles part of a gas station, was designed by the US designer Brecht Wright Gander. To turn it on, you need to connect two structures with a wire.

The lamp consists of two monoliths decorated with pink holes. On one of them is a ball-shaped lamp - the main source of light in the structure. All pink parts are made of rubber and silicone.

To power this lamp, a fleshy pink wire must be inserted into the inflatable hole. There is a capacitive sensor that reacts to the electrical charge of human skin. The latter is transmitted through a copper wire to the lamp.

As the author of the project notes, the biological charge of a person provokes the appearance of light. In this case, the user himself becomes a source of energy.

This lamp and its principle of operation are a kind of reference to the coexistence of machines and people. After all, a person is, in some way, a source of energy - he owns the ideas for creating devices, their implementation, as well as the subsequent maintenance of functioning.

At the moment, the presented lamp is only an exhibition item. The designer has no plans to use it at home. At least until the moment of improvement of this unusual light source.
