Volkswagen introduced a portable charging station for electric cars

Volkswagen has developed a mobile charger for electric vehicles. The station operates on the same principle as similar drives for smartphones. The rated capacity of 360 kWh will be enough to charge 15 vehicles.
It only takes 17 minutes for the normal car to resume charging. This involves the technology of rapid recovery of energy. In the case of reducing inventory of the plant to 20% it will be replaced by a new one. It is possible to constantly replenish energy when connected to a power source of 30 kW.
In Germany, Volkswagen charging stations will appear in the first half of 2019. By 2020, it is planned to cover most of the country with such energy storage.
