The American company
Microsoft has announced the release of ARM processors. They plan to use them on their own devices and servers.
The company's specialists in their processors focused on the ARM technology - sets of instructions and topologies of 32-bit and 64-bit microprocessor cores. They are planned to be installed in server computers that serve cloud products.
Microsoft is not expected to stop at just one processor. Another IC will be released soon.
She currently uses Intel processors. And if the Microsoft chip is presented and tested with a positive result, then the multinational corporation may lose one of its main customers.
Microsoft is believed to have followed in the footsteps of Apple, which has already announced a similar product. Now, Yabloko's own processors are used in three models of Mac computers. Microsoft, in turn, wants to completely switch to its own products and refuse third-party help in a few years.
If it succeeds in launching new processors into production in the near future, sales of computers with ARM processors will begin in a few years.
