A group of scientists from France conducted a study that made it possible to understand what attracts dogs to televisions. They like to look at their own kind.

Scientists have concluded that these animals are attracted to certain images. As a rule, these are pictures of their fellows barking, whining or executing commands. They are also interested in the owners' praise in the form of tactile rewards and conversations with their pets.

It is noted that dogs have special vision, which is different from human. It is dichromatic, that is, they perceive the image in shades of two colors - blue and yellow.

To understand what is happening, a person needs up to 20 images per second, dogs - about 70. Animals perceive the broadcasting of old televisions as incomprehensible flashes, as for new multimedia screens, it is already easier with them. Also, due to the structure of the eye, all television images for them are more blurry.

Additional research has shown that even while watching TV, these animals do not focus on what is happening. As a rule, they only need a few seconds.

But, despite the fact that dogs sometimes watch TV, cartoons about their fellows cannot be fooled. Animated images attract little of them.
