The main material for work is slightly dried leaves from fruit trees. She likes to “work” with hazel, apple or cherry. But at the same time, the craftswoman does not neglect the leaves from other trees. After all, if an interesting specimen comes across, then why not use it.

The start of embroidery work is preceded by the selection and preparation of the desired "canvas". Hillary Feil cleans and washes it, dries it. Places under the press if necessary. This preparatory work ensures the proper preparation of the future creation.

Then, using a sketch previously created on paper, the American woman begins the embroidery process. She uses different techniques and, accordingly, patterns.
