The candlestick by Dutch designer Laura Klinkenberg has a rather unusual shape and principle of operation. It resembles a scale, it goes down and up, keeping the flame burning.

The construction of candlestick is thought out in such a way that it moves and at the same time does not extinguish the candle placed in it. A round element located on the opposite side of the candlestick comes to equilibrium after fluctuations.

Laura Klinkenberg creates candlesticks with her own hands. She carves wood and metal if needed. Then he grinds the parts, polishes them and at the end mounts the entire structure.

The round stone tasked with balancing the candle is made from basalt. Its diameter is small, only 39 cm. But this does not prevent it from being a reliable "counterweight" in the entire design of the candlestick.

For stability, a special round leg is used in the structure. The candlestick's creator says that her creation can be rolled out so that the candle is on the opposite side of the stand. You will get a real vertical.

Laura Klinkenberg recommends using her candlesticks in modern interiors. Although it does not exclude the possibility of using them in relation to the classic style. You just need to try to place the "swinging" candlesticks.
