The fireplace grill was created by Dutch designer Frederic Roye. So he decided to pay tribute to the industrial era.

Outwardly, it is a steel structure in the form of a factory tube - wide at the bottom and tapered at the top. Since this metal corrodes, after a while a "protective" layer of rust appears on the surface. The impression of an aged object is created.

Functionally, it is fireplace and stove. The design can be used in the backyard, on the cottage's terrace, or even mounted in the house itself. Firewood can be thrown into it, as in any other fireplace. Like a grill with grills, it allows you to cook food on fire.

Frederic Roye decided to create his industrial-style fireplace-grill for a reason. He has been studying its basics for a long time: he visited old factories and plants, created miniature steampunk figures, studied literature on the topic.

Such a chimney in a modern interior, according to the designer, is the main landmark that becomes a symbol of progress and memories of the past of industrial regions.

Frédéric Royer's grill fireplace is more than just a fancy decor. It is also a rather functional device that allows you to keep warm, cook food and just spend time by the fire with the whole family.
