Installations from broken ceramic tiles are created by the Italian artist Graziano Locatelli. His works are full of creative energy, despite dilapidated components.

Visually, installations with tiles by the Italian master look like people and animals bursting out of the walls. On their way, they see no obstacles. It turns out that these are micro-explosions in the walls covered with ceramic tiles.

The Italian artist gives preference to silhouettes of people. In this he sees a hidden meaning: the irrepressible desire of a person to fight to the end.

It is not the first time that Graziano Locatelli has faced the destructive power of explosions. He spent all his childhood in the ruins located near his hometown. He often had to meet destroyed statues, structures and even entire streets.

Since then, the process of destruction has become the main one in his work. He plays with figures pushing through the tiles. All this, according to the artist, resembles birth, which is at the junction of reality and fantasy.

In some works, only cracks are observed, forming the abstract outlines of human faces.

The Italian's passion is proof of how the hobby of exploring broken objects has grown into real creativity. Old cars, abandoned settlements did their job for Graziano Locatelli.
