LG Electronics, a South Korean company, has announced the release of the latest webOS 6.0 operating system. The version is designed for smart TV models such as QNED, Mini LED, OLED, UHD and NanoCell, which will go on sale in 2021.
For the convenience of users, the main screen in the improved series has been modified and has an attractive interface. The main window is displayed in full screen mode
TV and is the central control element of the WebOS ecosystem. Access to frequently used programs is now faster. Built-in Next Picks automatically picks content that suits the viewer. Next Picks collects information about user preferences based on the history of views of terrestrial and cable channels. After analyzing the data, the system issues a recommendation for information products.
The new Smart TV models come with an upgraded Magic Remote control. LG's ThinQ AI module supports voice commands, making it even more accessible to control settings and navigate TV services. NFC technology synchronizes the content of a mobile device with a TV by instantly touching the remote control. Thus, the user has the ability to display the media content stored in the phone on the TV screen.
The Magic Explorer feature displays details about TV shows, movies and TV programs on the screen. Content dependent contains a TV guide option and assists with purchasing products from popular services including Live TV and Gallery.
