Cozy apartment from Brazilian designer

The architect Leandro Garcia turned a small apartment of 35 square meters into a comfortable light housing. The journalist living here wanted the nondescript space to become more modern and comfortable for guests. Therefore, the layout of the apartment has undergone significant changes. The room was divided into two parts: one was allocated for living and recreation, the second became functional – it included a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen.

The front door leads to the social part. There is a living room and a dining room in front of the guest. And the living room is adjacent to the terrace, which can be accessed through glass doors. One of the walls is allocated under the shelves, the second is a private room and kitchen. The interior is cozy, there is a feeling of warmth due to the pleasant texture of wood, from which the walls are sheathed.

Parallel walls are designed in such a way that you can feel the depth of the space. Lightness and airiness are achieved through the use of unobtrusive and practical finishing materials. The mood is brought by a vintage coffee pot, a table in the style of the 50s, antique chairs and a table.

Bathroom and bedroom do not need much space. Thanks to the same palette as in the living room, there is no feeling of constraint. It provides recreation and tranquillity.
