The interior design of the weapons room was developed by the Ukrainian studio A7-design. The architects' vision of the premises turned out to be brutal, which corresponds to its functional orientation.
The weapon in the room was able to take its rightful place. At the same time, it was not deliberately put on display, but was only one of the main details of the interior.
A loft style was chosen for the armory room with imitation of concrete formwork and brick wall textures. The decoration was complemented by wooden beams, which are used for their intended purpose - to support the ceiling.
Metal sliding doors add extra brutality to the room. The architects used a sheet of metal, artificially composing it and painting it with bright red paint. So they became not only an additional element of the layout, but also an accent spot.
With electricity, the studio's specialists also acted according to the canons of the loft style: the wiring was done outside. Metal corrugated sleeves and galvanized pipes were used as "support". The entire structure was held in place by fittings.
According to the head of the studio, the armory is more of an exhibition function. And this should be taken into account when developing a project for the future premises.
In this case, A7-design specialists focused on glazed shelves with lighting. It runs in a thin strip over the black metal frames of the furniture.
The designers chose four light squares as lighting, connected at the corners. They were pre-printed on a 3D printer, which made the lighting technology in this armory unique.
