The avocado knife was designed by Brighton College student Pietro Pignatti. It is a safe item to use when traveling.

Steel cutting device is designed specifically for avocados. Its length does not exceed 8 cm. On one side there is a hook, beveled towards the cuttinger's palm. On the opposite side, the knife expands.

The avocado knife is comfortable and safe. It is easily held in one hand by thumb and forefinger. And even if it slips while slicing, it won't hurt.

The knife is positioned as a travel device for cutting vegetables and fruits. But above all for the avocado. Its curves allow you to thinly cut the peel and pull out the bone.

If desired, the extended side of the knife can be used as a spoon to spread the paste. For example, guacamole, which is made from avocado. The pasty substances are gently applied and stretched over the surface of soft bread or hard crackers.

Now the Italian brand Coltelletia Sladini is engaged in the production of such knives. For now, avocado knives will be made in standard design. The one patented by an American student. But soon it is planned to expand the assortment - knives for mango, coconut and other things.

The knife is completed with a special fabric bag with a tie. After use, rinse it with warm water, after dipping it in a degreasing agent. Then dry and put in a bag.

The avocado knife was created by Pietro Pignatti because of his excessive love for this fruit.

Recently it was reported that what an ideal knife should be.
