New trends in the world of sinks and faucets were presented at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas. Technological innovations such as voice control, cup rinsing and change-over sink fronts are now available to everyone. Okho will talk about the main innovations, their features and nuances.

Among the exhibits on display were many high-necked pull-out mixer taps. Such models are often installed in professional kitchens. Most of these products have a spring that holds the hose in a comfortable position. But some mixers are equipped with a flexible sealed hose instead of a spring, which is more convenient to clean.

Faucets with a hidden shower were also popular at the exhibition. Such models are suitable for people who do not like the industrial style of sinks. For example, Pfister has a model with a hose hidden in the base. But if necessary, it can be pulled out by 30 cm. Watering cans with sprayers with several modes have proven themselves well.

In addition, manufacturers are actively introducing into their products system elements of the "smart home" type. Some of the presented exhibits are included not only in a standard way, but also in a contactless way. For example, with a single hand movement near a spout. There are also mixers that are activated by voice commands. With the help of bots and an application, a person can control the tap, adjusting the flow and temperature of the water. In addition, these mixers are equipped with a detector that can track humidity drops and pressure surges. If you install the system in the place of possible leaks, then (at the slightest fluctuations in indicators) the application will send a notification about the problems that have arisen.

If we draw a parallel between all the presented products, then, undoubtedly, one general trend can be traced. Manufacturers today create products aimed at ease of use. For example, mixers with quick start buttons, boiling water outlet or separate rinse aid for bottles and tall glasses.
