A British artist named Antara makes miniature copies of houseplants out of paper. Her work is difficult to distinguish from the original.

In a miniature home flower garden Antara there are more than 20 varieties of indoor flowers. Among them, there are copies of those plants that are considered poisonous - their sap, leaves or vapors. But since these are paper products, they are completely safe.

Anatar begins creating a new plant with observations. She goes to flower shops or parks. There he studies the appearance, "behavioral features" at different times of the day. Along the way, the woman makes sketches in the album.

After creating a sketch of the future plant, Antara proceeds to the preparation of materials - paper, cardboard, glue, brushes, paints and varnish.
First, the artist creates a wire frame on which thin sheets of paper are glued layer by layer. This layering makes the miniature copy look like the original. Leaves form after the stem. If necessary, Antara cuts them or adds something.

If the houseplant is flowering, then you have to create a flower. Wire and paper also come to the rescue here. Winding in a special way, scalpel cuts allow you to create an open or unopened bud.

The next step is staining. As a rule, this is done in several stages. The layers of paint dry out, revealing any imperfections on the paper, so sometimes you have to reapply the layers.

At the end, the finished product is varnished. This allows the finished plant to maintain its ideal appearance for as long as possible.
