Sony is in the process of developing a new sensor. It is expected to be used for new mobile cameras.

The sensor will be presented in April 2021. It will be the largest sensor in the mobile market - the size will be 1 inch. Such a record figure will be recorded for the first time.

Installing a new sensor will affect the quality of the images. The increased light sensitivity will allow you to respond to changes in lighting, glare and capture the details of the shot objects. It is assumed that the new sensor will be installed in the most powerful smartphones.

According to rumors, the Sony sensor will be installed in Huawei's flagship smartphones. Moreover, for all three models of the line at once. The basic version will be equipped with a main sensor, wide-angle and telephoto lenses. In the second model, the telephoto lens will be replaced with a periscope lens, and in the third, a 3D ToF sensor will be added to the basic components.

Since the presentation of the new sensor is scheduled for April, it is likely that Huawei smartphones will be released with a delay. Prior to that, their release was announced for March.

According to the developers, the device will change the idea of photography and video shooting. This is gaining relevance in the age of indiscriminate self-improvement. Even for social networks, users try to prepare high-resolution visuals - they order professional photo sessions, spend hours processing finished images.

The Sony sensor will remove controversial issues related to high-quality photo and video materials. The main thing is to wait for the official presentation of the device and the test results.
