Spanish designer presented a collection of smiling stools

The stools with quirky smiles were created by the Spanish designer Jaime Ayon, together with the furniture brand Benchmark. This piece of furniture is very playful.

Visually, the collection stools is traditional. But what distinguishes them is their smiling face, carved into the seat. The eyes and mouth are not only decorative. Smile is a handle for carrying furniture.

American cherry became the main material for making stools. The designer has managed to maintain its natural texture and color.
The collection includes a set of five stools with medium height legs. But the pieces of furniture are also sold individually.

As noted by Jaime Ayon, people began to smile less often. With his collection, he wanted to remind that this is necessary and important to do. After all, a smile makes a person happier, healthier, and fills with hope.

And, in spite of the fact that this furniture is positioned as an office and for a home interior, it best of all "fits" into children's rooms. The inhabitants of these rooms simply do not want to get up from such stools. They play, sitting on them, practice.

This is not the first experience in creating "smiling" furniture. Several years ago, designers from France and Germany presented tables with emoticons at a specialized exhibition. Now this furniture is used in many kindergartens and schools in European countries.

Jaime Ayon creates this kind of objects for the first time. But this does not prevent the designer from already making plans for the future: to develop the design of smiling tables, cabinets and cabinets.
