The Turkish military has installed video camera aboard the prototype Atmaca anti-ship missile. The video shook the Internet.

During testing of a prototype weapon, the Turkish Air Force filmed the flight of a missile, which is capable of flying at an altitude of 9-12 m and hitting the target. This low flight provides protection from radar.

The enemy can detect a missile only 20 meters from the target, which leaves him no chance of escape from a collision. Defense systems need about 2 minutes to destroy it.

Few saw the skimmer in action. And to follow his movement in the first person is on the verge of fantasy. The Turkish military decided to experiment.

For decades, the air forces of different countries have been armed with anti-ship missiles of the "skimmer" type. After all, the curved surface of the earth allows such objects to move almost unnoticed by radars. The lower it flies, the longer it remains outside the reach of search engines.

Filming and editing of the video belongs to the Turkish military contractor Roketsan. The camera was installed in such a way that the audience watched the flight of the anti-ship missile, as if moving in it.

This is the first experience of using video cameras and recording first-person video from anti-ship missiles of the "skimmer" type. The practice of flight recording is used in testing space flights.

The cameras on board record the slightest changes on board that affect the subsequent functioning of the aircraft. Including prelaunch preparation and landing.
