British designer Mehmet Doruk Erdum presented his project for the motorcycles of the future. These were fantasies about existing models and their transformations.

The Khan Concept is based on the BMW R1100R motorcycle. But the designer's interpretation is a vehicle from the future. Streamlined forms and optics, asymmetry, massiveness.

The principle of operation and, accordingly, the appearance of the vehicle is based on the principles of aerodynamics. The massive body completely covers the front wheel and suspension. Enlarged rear wheel and custom seating arrangement.

An engine with an impressive volume is responsible for the speed. The main element of the power plant allows you to reach the maximum speed in a minimum time.

As for the handling of the motorcycle, it is extremely questionable. For such a "beast" you will need roads with perfect coverage. Whether they will be such remains a mystery.

Visually, the concept bike is reminiscent of the DC superhero Batman's bike that ripped through the streets of Gotham. Huge wheels, streamlined design, prohibitive speed and dozens of gadgets.

The project of creating a futuristic motorcycle is not the first time created by a British designer. In the arsenal of Mehmet Doruk Erdum there are already several bikes that may well be used in the future.

As a rule, the Briton takes the existing models of famous brands as a basis. Adds its fantasies about the future to their appearance, spices everything with increased functionality. Quite unusual models turn out. With the projects of some of them, Mehmet Doruk Erdum has already turned to automakers.

Previously, OXO wrote about French designers who are planning to print bicycles on a 3D printer.
