Nicky Whitlock collects mosaics that have no room for asymmetric motives. The works concentrate not only the craving for geometric objects, but also recycling.

The main theme of the work is the relationship between people and nature. Women are depicted against a background of flowers. Some mosaics are plots in which a person lives, akin to all living things.

The central part of each work is a woman's face. The hair of the "heroine" of the mosaic develops in the wind. Some curls seemed to hang in the air. Supplemented with plants, animals or birds.

The British woman is attracted to the mosaic not only by its visual component. The works use glass left over from old objects. Nicky Whitlock's hobby is recycling old windows, glassware and figurines.

Many parts are shards from wine bottles. The girl melts the glass and forms pieces of the desired shape and size from it.

Nicky Whitlock often uses glass mosaics to decorate pieces of furniture. Tables, chairs, dressers are decorated.

And more recently, the British woman has also been creating festive illumination. Glasses are glued to a pre-prepared frame. And inside, LED lights or garland-type bulbs are installed. Together with the pieces of glass, a festival of overflows is created.

The British woman does not consider her hobby as a source of income. She believes that hobby should bring, first of all, positive emotions. And only after that become a source of income.

Some of Nicky Whitlock's mosaics adorn the walls of homes far beyond the UK.
