Brussels-based designer Julian Ohayon decided to look at the world differently. No bright colors. Monochrome.

The designer interpreted the existing objects and objects in monochrome. Repainted black, focusing only on the names. Moreover, the latter are also presented in coal black.

Julian Ohayon started with a red Coca-Cola can. Sitting at home, resting, for the sake of laughter, he took black paint and painted the jar. It turned out brutal.

This was followed by coffee cups. They were also presented in black by the Brussels.

After a few experiments with black coatings, Julian Ohayon thought why not make a series of objects united by a monochrome idea. This is how the interior of the house, the car, gadgets and more appeared. The designer has created a series of photographs in monochrome space.

The guy believes that the world should be bright. But sometimes you want to escape from this brightness. Hide in the shade, stay in peace and quiet. His photographs help bring about such a reboot.

Julian Ohayon's work has not yet been exhibited anywhere. These are gifts for friends and loved ones, decor of your own home. The designer does not consider a hobby as a source of income. This is rest, switching attention to your thoughts and desires.

The author of the works hopes that his monochrome images will help people concentrate on the beauty of objects. Colorless forms.

Black removes everything that is distracting, unnecessary. Brings calmness, balance, conciseness into life. If you follow the philosophy of Julian Ohayon, any hobby should act on a person in this way.

OXO previously reported on a Japanese illustrator who is fond of depicting unusual alphabets.
