Every day, this type of hobby is gaining popularity, such as making works of art from materials that at first glance are completely inappropriate for these purposes. Australian Ivan Lovatt is one of the artists who chose a very unusual source for his work. The craftsman creates amazing masterpieces from a rigid wire mesh-netting. The sculptures by the Australian artist are striking in their beauty. They seem airy, weightless and made of delicate lace.

Surprisingly, Ivan seemed to subdue the rough wire. In his hands, she becomes as if soft and pliable. Anyone who once saw the work of a sculptor admires and marvels at the professionalism of the author.

A craftsman was born in Kenya, but often changed his place of residence. During his life he visited countries such as Africa, England and Germany. The culture and traditions of each of the countries left an indelible impression on Ivan. Later, the author reflected these emotions in his creations.

Today the sculptor's collection includes more than a hundred portraits of famous people. These are Grace Jones, Bob Dylan, Albert Einstein, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Edmund Hillary, Andy Warhol, etc. Also in the collection of the master there are wire animals: a rooster, an eagle, a hare, a monkey, a bear, a lion and others. The artist notes that in each exhibit he preserves a piece of the character's soul. He sets himself the task of creating not only an aesthetically beautiful sculpture, but also a "living" one. Lovatt seeks to breathe life into his creations so that they can talk about their prototype even after death.

Some of the sculptor's works are permanently exhibited at the Jackman Gallery, which is located in Melbourne. The works of the Australian are in great demand among admirers of the creative arts. The cost of sculptures varies from 9 to 18 thousand dollars, but there are always enough buyers.
