Air humidifier is a necessary item. Especially in the conditions of the approaching hot days of spring and summer. The experts told what to look for when choosing this device.

There are several types of humidifiers - traditional, ultrasonic and steam.

Traditional humidifiers force air through a water-dampened filter. This procedure not only moisturizes, but also purifies the air. The cost is not very high, although the performance is not the best.

Ultrasonic humidifiers use membranes that vibrate at a high frequency during operation. The water turns into fine vapor, invisible to the human eye. Only purified water should be poured into such humidifiers. Otherwise, white bloom on the details cannot be avoided.

Steam humidifiers use hot steam in their operation. Water is pre-poured into the built-in container, which, when heated, begins to evaporate. A humidifier speeds up this process.

As a rule, such devices are quite noisy and quite expensive. And the room where steam cleaners are used runs the risk of turning into a sauna.

Traditional and ultrasonic humidifiers have the most necessary functionality for the home. But when buying, you need to take into account the volume of the room, the capacity of the tank, the evaporation power, the type of filter.

For some customers, the ionization and aromatization function is important.

As for the control, for some it is enough to regulate the air humidification process on their own. And for others - use a smartphone for this.
