The picnic table was invented and realized by the Flemish designer Dirk Winants. The design is characterized by increased convenience.

The monolithic aluminum piece of furniture is a standard table, complete with benches. The convenience of the latter lies in the fact that the person sitting down does not need to throw his legs to sit down. The seats form the legs of the table.

The solidity of the structure implies integrity between the table and its supports. The aluminum tabletop merges into the legs and vice versa. The effect of integrity is visually created.

The novelty is positioned as picnic table. The furniture is suitable for open and closed terraces, country house verandas. But if desired, the table can also be used indoors. Its laconic appearance will be able to decorate any room in a minimalist or loft style.

Dirk Winats' table maintenance is simple. It is enough to wipe it after contact with water with a dry knitted cloth. It is also possible to use agents that prevent corrosion. After all, the entire structure is made of metal.

According to its functional purpose, the furniture can be used for both work and leisure. You can put a laptop on the table, put books or notebooks. At the same time, he will become an indispensable assistant for family lunches or dinners, board games.

The design table has not yet gone on sale. At the moment, furniture can only be made by prior order. But Dirk Winants does not rule out mass production of the structure. This will happen if the table finds its buyers in the furniture market.
