Asian culture and eclecticism of styles - a new project of the Yudin brothers, implemented in a Ukrainian restaurant

The new project of the Yudin brothers, the finalists of the On Knives project, is a restaurant in Zaporozhye. The emphasis in the visual concept was on eclecticism and Asian style.

Designers have been given complete creative freedom. At first, there were fluctuations between complete minimalism and neutrality regarding the reflection of the direction of the kitchen in the interior. But we stopped at the interpretation of Asian culture.

The restaurateurs decided to create a symbiosis of America and Asia. In the project with the sonorous name "California", American filmmaking and solar symbolism were realized.

American and Asian themes are reflected in the design and materials. Backlit panels that adorn the ceilings. Self-leveling floors with ocean-like stains. While the setting of the restaurant resembles a casino setting from the James Bond films.

Some of the walls are decorated with reels with spinning reels - a hobby of typical Americans. And on the summer terrace - a red table, screens, nets.

The presence of the Asian style is indicated by the Chinese-style arch, which marks the location of the largest table in the establishment. Not to be forgotten is the stylish illuminated bar with a shark fin shaped surf shelf.

Almost all furniture in the restaurant is made with a reference to the American cabinet style. The remaining models are made according to the Asian theme.

The cuisine of the Zaporizhzhya restaurant echoes the interior and visual concept - a combination of Asian and American. Thanks to common elements, these radically different cultures were able to be combined into one whole.
