Creativity knows no boundaries. Authors use a wide variety of means and techniques to express themselves. Briton Olivia Walker came up with a special way to show the world her thoughts. She creates original vessels from ceramics, which amaze with their jewelry work. In his creations, the author uses the technique of layering organic "growths" with a ribbed surface on the main part of the product.

Olivia's love for ceramics came by accident. After receiving her bachelor's degree, the girl came to work in a craft gallery for the summer. She was so inspired by what she saw in the process of work that she decided to graduate from the master's degree, having received all the necessary knowledge in the direction of modern ceramics.

The peculiarity of the Walker exhibits lies in the harmonious symbiosis of sophistication of forms and laconic minimalism. Work on the vessels begins with a potter's wheel, on which the future shape of the product is created. Then the craftswoman begins to build up the smallest porcelain elements on the original basis. Layer by layer, the fragments grow in an arbitrary shape, creating a unique organic structure.

Walker makes vessels exclusively from natural porcelain. It perfectly emphasizes small fragments of products, placing the necessary accents. In addition, according to the author, the use of natural materials brings people closer to creation and allows them to fully experience the message that she puts into ceramics.

Olivia's creations have already been exhibited at Design Week at Melbourne's National Gallery of Victoria and at the Guldagergaard Ceramic Center International Exhibition. In addition, the author maintains his own page on Instagram, where he constantly keeps in touch with collectors and connoisseurs of unusual art.
