The new C5 X is a symbiosis of a sedan, station wagon and crossover. In addition to this, the car received an extraordinary exterior, proprietary technological equipment.
The platform for the construction of the new car was used as before. But in the wake of innovations, manufacturers have not forgotten about the classic style for the brand.
The line will be represented by several versions of vehicles. The top-end version has a proprietary suspension, comfortable seats, a multimedia system and a semi-automatic driving system.
From the point of view of the power plant, there will be two gasoline engines in the lineup, for the power of which there is no information yet. The hybrid top version will allow you to cover up to 50 km. The parameters of maximum speed and acceleration are also not yet advertised.
The interior of the car is made in black and gray colors. The appearance is rather laconic. Finishing elements - handles, belts, lighting - “sound in unison”.
It was decided to increase the trunk and interior. After all, the dimensions of the case were slightly adjusted by the designers.
Strengthening is also noted from the position of safety - the strength of the belts has been changed, the size and sensitivity of the cushion has been increased.
The new car will be launched in the Chinese market. The company's production facilities are concentrated in Chengdu. Further, the transportation of finished machines will be carried out to European dealers.
The start of sales of the original model is scheduled for the second half of 2021.
