Ukrainian designers took part in an international competition organized by AXOR
Ukrainian designers took part in the creation of decor for German-made AXOR faucets. The competition for the best project lasted from October 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
Young specialists suggested ideas, inspired by national ornaments, the work of Ukrainian writers and the originality of nature.
AXOR has succeeded in transforming the plumbing fixture into an art object. Even without much tools. Discreet rectangular shapes underline the laconic design - nine taps for washbasins, baths and bidets.
A feature of the line is a replaceable top panel, when replaced, you can create spaces of different nature. The choice of colors, materials and patterns became the starting point for the competition problems.
Ukrainian designers sent projects to the German manufacturer, arguing for the choice of one or another ornament. A short textual accompaniment was also welcomed, which helped to understand the essence of the visual concept.
The AXOR brand turned to Ukrainians for help for a reason. The freshness of views, the desire to give even everyday objects a national flavor, have always attracted the creators of plumbing from Germany.
The results of the competition will be announced in April. Designers who have submitted the best projects will receive prizes, including a trip to the AXOR factories. And the winner is the opportunity to collaborate with a German brand.
