Volkswagen showed the updated Polo
German brand Volkswagen has shown an updated hatchback. The car has received a number of stylistic and technological updates.
From a visual point of view, the Polo received an updated grille, bumpers and optics - the lights were reshaped, and the headlights became LED and connected to the grille with a luminous strip. The innovations have given the exterior a bold look. At the same time Volkswagen icon remained the same.
Changes in the cabin affected the steering wheel, which has become multifunctional. The climate control unit has appeared and all multimedia has been updated. The latter supports synchronization with smartphones. And the basic equipment is also equipped with a digital dashboard.
The electronics in the updated version of the hatchback received automatic control of braking, lane keeping and a central airbag located between the front seats.
Advanced functionality includes blind spot recognition, road signs and cruise control.
The power plant is represented by an atmospheric gasoline engine, mechanical and robotic transmissions. The possibility of installing a hybrid version of the engine was not even considered by German designers.
The German automaker frequently updates its previously released vehicles. This happens after analyzing the reviews of car owners. Difficulties that arise in technical terms. The updated cars are released taking into account design improvements.
The updated model will enter the European market in the summer of 2021. There is no information about the starting price of the basic configurations yet.
