Travel spirit in perfect proportions - the new DeMuro Das furniture collection

The travel-inspired furniture collection was created jointly by American and Indian designers. The authors of the project were inspired by the study of Italian villas, frescoes by masters of the Renaissance, the nature of virgin forests.

DeMuro Das created a collection of furniture - stools and benches with soft coverings, cabinets and hanging shelves. Each element is a collective image of what a person enjoys while traveling. Unknown works of art, rarely visited sights, by the indigenous people of those places.

The visual concept of the ruler is harmony between vertical and horizontal components. The ability to add drama to them.

Drama, according to the authors of the project, is the "red line" of the entire collection. Consideration under the prism of contradictions between decorative elements and construction becomes practical. Furniture needs minimalism.

Small benches are complemented by soft upholstery, dressers with shelves are installed on squat legs, low tables complement the same chairs. The legs of tables, chairs and stools have an unusual shape. Designers have moved away from the usual cone-shaped design - they replaced it with flattening.

The color of furniture items is also full of contradictions - unusually dark facades, fittings. The upholstery uses fabrics with layers of fabric - as if it were rubbish that needs to be removed.

Designers from New York and New Delhi presented their collection at a profile exhibition a few months ago. But, despite this, some pieces of furniture have already appeared on sale.
