This webcam resembling the human eye was designed by German engineer Mark Tessier. The video calling device looks pretty intimidating.

Inside the artificial eyeball, the German built a usual webcam. He surrounded her with a fake part of a human skull - a silicone temple, eyebrows. The camera-eye can rotate from side to side, move the eyelid and eyebrow.

The engineer stated the purpose of creating such a device as follows - to establish an emotional connection between the participants of the video conference. Communication through the screen of a computer, laptop or smartphone is no longer enough.

The pandemic has alienated people very much, so experts from different fields have to go to extremes. From the standpoint of socialization, this is permissible.

However, those who have already tested the "all-seeing eye" of Mark Tessier are frightened by the device. One gets the impression that someone is watching the person all the time. Obsessions arise, unwillingness to be in the room where such a camera is installed.

This is not the first invention of a German engineer to shock his colleagues. He previously introduced a smartphone case that resembles human skin. To operate the gadget, just pinch or stroke the leather smartphone cover.

As Mark Tessier himself notes, he has not yet managed to achieve the goal of establishing an emotional connection between people at a distance. An eye-shaped webcam looks intimidating and only frightens with its presence.

Mark Tessier has not yet talked about the large-scale release of devices. But after improvements in the camera-eye design, it allows this.
