From the village to the gallery: an old woman paints the walls of houses with blue paints
An elderly resident of the Czech city Luka Anezhka Kasparkova has been painting houses with paint for more than 30 years. The old lady's hobby made her a local celebrity.
In her work, the woman uses a small set of brushes and bright blue paint. Anezhka Kashparkova paints the facades of houses with floral compositions typical of this region. The cheerful motifs of three-dimensional flowers stand out against the background of the white canvases of the buildings.
Outwardly, the works of Anezhka Kasparkova resemble houses in one of the regions of Poland. There are the same flowers. But the inhabitant of the Czech town is inspired by traditional Moravian works.
Anezhka Kashparkova never plans a future image. The woman takes brushes and paints and begins to paint. At the beginning of work, she often does not know how the finished image will look.
From detached residential buildings and non-residential buildings, Anezhka Kashparkova moved on to decorating the local church. The old woman spends 10 days a year painting the walls with blue paints. The craftswoman is not afraid of climbing stairs and forests.
Paintings with traditional Moravian motives made Anezhka Kasparkova famous not only in the Czech Republic. Tourists from Europe and America come to see the fancifully decorated houses. The woman is happy to welcome everyone.
Often, for fans of her work, Anezhka Kashparkova conducts classes on painting ceramic products. As a rule, children become students of a woman. But from time to time, adults also attend her master classes.
