Ron Mueck, a sculptor born in Australia in 1958, surprises the world with stunning hyperrealistic sculptures. It is no coincidence that the master was engaged in such creativity.

His career has been with London television. There Ron created oversized dolls and mannequins for world famous shows ("Mapped" and "Labyrinth"). The work helped him acquire all-round skills to create the most detailed humanoid figures. Today the master's creations are known all over the world and are exhibited in large galleys.

The author presented his first work at the Sensation exhibition back in 1997. Then the public was shocked by an unusual sculpture called "Dead Dad". Mysterious and extraordinary work represented the body of a small naked man. Since then, each subsequent creation of the sculptor attracts the attention of fans of his work, shocking their minds again and again.

Hyperrealism is the main characteristic of Mueck's sculptures. The style in which the master sculpts his masterpieces is very complex. Ron carefully works out every detail so that the figures become absolutely identical with real people. As a result of painstaking work, sculptures are so realistic that at first glance it is difficult to distinguish them from a real person.

The figures of the master are most often made on a reduced or enlarged scale, but with full observance of anatomical proportions. To create the first creations, the sculptor used fiberglass. But later he started working with pigmented polystyrene and fibglast-based silicone. Thanks to the plasticity of the material, Ron manages to recreate the smallest features of the human body: wrinkles, moles, freckles, scars, etc.

The sculptures depict scenes from the lives of ordinary people. But you want to look at them for hours and study every detail.
