Sculptures from plastic bottles are created by an artist from the Czech Republic Veronika Richterova. The works look exciting in terms of plastic reuse.

When creating pet sculptures, Veronika Richterova uses carving, thermal bonding, and pressing. So, the craftswoman turns out to give the original shape to the finished products.

Materials for the work of the artist from the Czech Republic come from different European countries. Veronika Richterova orders them at industrial enterprises that produce carbonated drinks.

A resident of the Czech Republic began to carry out the first attempts to create sculptures from plastic in 2004. These were separate works that a woman used to decorate her home. This was followed by personal exhibitions, not numerous in terms of the number of exhibits. In the past few years, Veronika Richterova's hobby has been approaching a business project.

The craftswoman uses nature and its riches as inspiration. Plants, animals, surrounding forests, mountains, rivers.

Quite often Veronika Richterova creates not only individual compositions, but individual sculptures. Cacti on a gentle stone slope, flower beds and fields, greenhouses.

It is not difficult to guess that a woman is crazy about flowers and everything connected with them. The Czech artist is especially attracted by field and meadow plants - cornflowers, chamomile, St. John's wort, clover. Often in the forest, field or meadow, Veronika Richterova is inspired to create new works.

The example of a Czech artist once again makes sure that a hobby can become a matter of a lifetime. Often pushing work into the background.

Previously, OXO wrote about hyperrealism in sculptures by Ron Mueck.
