The German company Mahle, specializing in the supply of parts for cars, presented its own development. Now the electric motor, which is safe for the environment, has moved from the “desirable” category to the “possible” category.

Motor Mahle will become the first product of this kind in history, which excludes the use of rare earth minerals. According to the company's engineer, the improved motor will make a splash. After all, it is not only environmentally friendly, but also economical in resource consumption.

Michael Frick (Chairman of the Management Board) commented: “Our development is a technological breakthrough. Thanks to her, the company will receive the status of "sustainable". We found a way to get rid of magnets And this opens up opportunities for the whole world. After all, if the use of rare earth materials is reduced, this will have a beneficial effect on both geopolitics and the state of nature. "

But the advantages of the new engine do not end there. The special feature of the Mahle non-magnetic motor lies not only in environmental friendliness, but also in increased efficiency. Engineers have worked for a long time to ensure that the motor efficiency reaches 95%. And this is in all modes of operation. This result was previously demonstrated exclusively by autocars from Formula E.

Also, the engine is equipped with a contactless method of transferring electric current between internal elements (stationary and rotating). This fact ensures the durability of the motor. Consequently, the engine is maintenance-free. And the scope of development covers many categories.

At the moment, the motor is going through the final stages of preparation and testing. Soon, Mahle brand products will be available to everyone.
