Sculptures on a pencil lead are created by a miniaturist artist from Russia Salavat Fidai. He devoted another project to the cult series "Game of Thrones".

Salavat Fidai grinds on the tip of a pencil fire-breathing dragons, three-eyed ravens, iron thrones, as well as characters from the series. Despite their diminutiveness, the sculptures are recognizable.

The work of the master begins with the selection of pencils. The artist uses stationery with soft to medium soft leads. In order to give them the proper pliability, in some cases it is necessary to soak the pencils in a special composition.

Previously, Salavat Fidai makes a sketch of the future sculpture on paper. Planning where the turns will be and where the through holes are.

Then the sculptor proceeds to transfer the image to the slate. In this he is helped by a scalpel, tweezers and a miniature file. Typically, the sawing job takes about two or three days. It all depends on the level of complexity of the image.

Grinding is carried out by winding a thin strip of sandpaper on the edge of the tweezers and passing them along the inner and outer surfaces.

The decision to portray the characters and individual elements of the series "Game of Thrones" did not come by accident. After watching several episodes of the first season of the Russian artist, he literally fell ill with a fantastic plot. Dragons, three-eyed crows, dwarfs, King of the Night and Mother of Dragons.

Salavat Fidai began with the dragon, then moved on to the image of the coats of arms. The sculptor managed to very accurately carve the throne on graphite, as well as individual characters.
