Updated Toyota Camry: test drive
Testing of the restyled version was carried out by the company's designers. The updated Camry has shown good results.

Along with this, Japanese manufacturers have also strengthened the technical component. It was noted that the power of the two-liter engine remained at 150 hp. But this is not the case. The figure increased to 170 hp, which influenced the traction figures, which reached 260 Nm.
As for handling, the variator of the restyled version is not easy. The first gear duplicates the "mechanics" and the automation is responsible for it. This multi-stroke allowed to increase the dynamics of acceleration from a standstill and to raise the resource base of the gearbox.
The updated Camry reaches 100 km / h in 9.5 seconds. This is 1.5 minutes less than the previous version.
It is noted that the restyled version has become more advantageous not only in dynamic aspects. From the standpoint of fuel economy, the car has also become more profitable for car owners.
Judging by sales statistics in recent years, the Toyota brand is inferior to its main competitor KIA. But the plans of the Chinese manufacturers are to catch up and overtake the "Korean". Final conclusions can only be drawn at the end of 2021.
