A French artist working under the nickname Ememem repairs roads using a technique he invented himself. The guy already has several dozen potholes and
hatches on his account.
Ememem finds holes in the asphalt and refills them with a mixture of bitumen and ceramic tile shards. Moreover, the French artist lays out the latter with certain patterns.
The guy's technique even got a special name - Flacking. According to the road master, this means the appearance of new holes and their artistic filling. Ememem calls its renovation works that are available to every citizen of Leon.
With creative projects, the Frenchman is trying to draw the attention of the authorities to the terrible state of the roads. The idea of "patching up" the first pothole came to the guy about 10 years ago, when he found himself near the destroyed part of the sidewalk. At that time, the guy was fond of mosaics and decided to try to close the hole in a way that was unconventional for city utilities.
Gradually, Ememem began to repair roads not only in its hometown. He expanded the field of activity throughout France and even took over part of Italy.
As the Frenchman notes, he is inspired by places, people, their thoughts. The guy was engaged in a similar activity, but used different techniques for this. And laying mosaics on bitumen in pits is what Ememem now plans to do over the next few years. This is the guy's real calling.
The French artist posts photos with versions of his works on Instagram. In some cases, it describes how this or that mosaic was created.
