Ukrainian designers receive a prestigious award at the Ukrainian Design competition: The Very Best of 2021
The team designers under the leadership of Katerina Churina received gold at a prestigious profile competition. They managed to win thanks to a project prepared for the office of the Institute of Cognitive Modeling.
The office is designed in Scandinavian style. The design uses natural materials and natural shades. As for the color scheme, the emphasis is on light pastel colors. This gives the locations lightness, and the chamber zoning of individual parts helps to create coziness and subsequently easily concentrate on work.
The design of the premises for the institute was supposed to provide that the output would be a laconic space. A place where a person can easily work and rest if necessary. But work was the priority.
Filling with light, lightness and openness of locations contribute to work processes. As the office staff noted, it is comfortable to be in the offices, there is no atmosphere squeezing thoughts.
The projects of European designers were evaluated by a jury of 29 people representing 17 countries. Among them were interior designers, architects, editors-in-chief of specialized publications, as well as other specialists in the construction industry.
This is the second such award in the arsenal of experts working under the leadership of Katerina Churina. Earlier, she received the Audience Award at the Interior of the Year competition, and recently won the INTERIUM-2021 international prize.
The authors of the project are satisfied with their work. Designers will again apply for this international competition next year.
