Independent experts from the USA have constructed a copy of the Perseveranc rover. The simulation procedure was filmed.
Using software, the scientists recreated the radio-controlled device in detail. The physical model received all the elements of movement - the body, wheels, auxiliary parts. The latter are used not only for Perseverance, but also Curiosity.
The simulation helped to clarify some facts about the device that were previously unknown. The rover body is attached to the pivot points on each side, the thrust is responsible for maneuverability.
