Samsung intends to make it easier to track biometrics by creating a flexible screen. The gadget is suitable even for babies.

The essence of the new development lies in the use of a series of elastic displays, which, even after prolonged wear, do not lose their functional load. Gadgets measure biometric indicators by the type of heart rate, pressure, and respiratory rate. Outwardly they resemble a transparent plaster.

The device can not be removed even at night, so the indicators that the device of "prolonged" action removes. On their basis, you can see the real picture of the functioning of functional systems - cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous and others.

For the new development, the company's researchers used a new type of matrix with an ultrasensitive sensor. This helps to record biometric indicators with high accuracy and transfer them to the main computer for tracking dynamics.

Testing of the sensor-patch has shown that it works even after 1000 stretches. Further research of the novelty will help determine for which spectrum of functional indicators it can be used.

Samsung plans to equip medical institutions, research centers and laboratories with similar gadgets. In the future, patients will be able to buy an electronic patch for personal use.

Almost 1000 lots, including blood glucose meters and thermometers, are concentrated in the subsection of the OXO website "Medical equipment and health products".
