In the midst of a pandemic, a resident of Great Britain, Anna Khoinitskaya, came up with an occupation for herself, which grew into a hobby - drawings on a banana peel.

The girl takes a ripe banana and begins to press on the peel using different tools. Subsequently, dark spots appear, texture and shade, which can be adjusted. This is how Anna Khoinitskaya creates her drawings.

As a rule, the girl uses plastic and metal sticks, wooden rolling pins and planks.

It takes from several hours to several days to create one art object from a banana.

Portraits, still lifes, individual images and compositions appear on the tropical fruit. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that the pictures on the bananas were painted without ink. It seems that they were painstakingly removed with ink, black marker or gouache.

Those who believe that creativity is food spoilage are mistaken. Each banana is subsequently eaten. The artist even organized a fundraising campaign for tropical fruits, which are then donated to hospitals, schools, and disadvantaged families.

To see the paintings on bananas created by Anna Khoinitskaya, just go to the British page on Instagram. There, the artist publishes photographs and videos of finished works, the process of their creation. Observing the creation of such edible art objects is quite educational.

However, the girl is against the sale of her paintings. She donates them to charity, donates to friends and acquaintances. Perhaps in the future it may be a profitable business, but for Anna Khoinitskaya, it is just a hobby.

Everything for a hobby is in the section "Accessories for sewing and needlework".
