Have you ever seen a table glowing in the dark? Surprisingly, sometimes none of the lighting equipment is used for the glow effect of such a piece of furniture. A magical glow is achieved with the help of photoluminescent paint. This is what the famous blogger Mike Warren does.

To create a glowing table, the young man uses scraped-out cypress wood planks, surface coating resin and photoluminescent powder.

Mike is a design engineer by profession. And he loves to mix practicality with originality. It is this effect that he achieves in his works. Mike considers his hobby to be very fun and easy to play.

The craftsman combines the powder with resin, and then covers the recesses in the tree with the resulting composition. Thanks to this, natural and aesthetic areas are formed. If such a table is placed in the sun, then at night it will begin to glow brightly.

“Once I walked into a building materials store and saw a carpenter working with cypress. I was so captivated by all stages of work that I decided to experiment. I used a technique honed over the centuries, but added something of my own to it. Having filled the voids from the knots with a luminous powder with resin, he brought the table out into the sunlight. And when darkness fell, I was amazed at how beautiful it all looks. After 3 months, the table glows as brightly as on the first night. I put it in my office and every time I look at it, I enjoy the work done, ”says the blogger.

Today, the craftsman collects orders for the manufacture of similar pieces of furniture around the world. He launched a small production where he creates luminous masterpieces. If you are looking for a high-quality and original table, then look at the items that are presented in the Furniture section.
