Home in 28 Hours: New Broad Group Record
Construction company Broad Group has built a 10-story residential building in record time. It took a little more than a day to erect the building.
The completed building is a standard 10-storey block structure that resembles iron containers. Each of the "bricks" is stacked on top of each other and bolted.
Steel containers with specifications 12.19 meters long, 2.44 meters wide and 3 meters high were cast at the construction company's factory. How long it took to create each container is not reported.
It took the Broad Group 28 hours and 45 minutes to install the modular residential building. This is an absolute record not only in China but throughout the world. The shortest construction period for a multi-storey residential structure.
After installing the steel blocks and securing them, electricity and running water were installed in the house. This was done through the use of special metal-plastic pipes, for which holes were pre-drilled. At the stage of final assembly, the builders only needed to carry them out and fasten them.
In the coming months, the construction company plans to prepare several more similar houses for installation. One of which should consist of 10-15 floors, a more complex set of communications. As before, builders will use their own production facilities to create floor modules.
In the section "House, interior" more than 7 thousand lots have been collected, which will help to equip a new apartment or house - from door handles to modular furniture designs.
