An engineer and blogger, Jonathan Gleich, developed a condition manifested by hand tremors. Jonathan's favorite pastime is soldering. But the trembling in his hands prevented him in this matter. The man did not despair. In order not to give up his life's work, he began to look for a way out. And he came up with a solution to the problem. The craftsman redesigned the tripod for the phone so that the fixture could hold and stabilize the soldering iron.

According to Gizmodo, it is known that the craftsman modified a non-standard tripod for the phone. The gadget uses gyroscopic sensors and an articulated grip. Thanks to them, during video recording, uncontrolled jitter is eliminated and large noise is smoothed out.

Jonathan got creative with his design. It took some effort to align the tripod with the soldering iron, but the result was worth the effort. An engineer made an adapter equipped with a clip. Then he simply attached the clip to the arm of the smartphone attachment.

The main feature of the device is that it comes with a miniature remote control. With the help of it, precise manual adjustments are carried out. Due to this, a variety of maneuvers can be performed with the tip of the soldering iron.

The mechanism of the gadget is reminiscent of the principle of the "smart spoon" from Liftlabs. Back in 2013, the American company released a cutlery for people suffering from Parkinson's disease. Sensitive sensors and a microchip are built into the spoon, which determines the intensity of hand tremor. When performing movements, the device compensates for tremors: the handle of the spoon rises and falls, and the nozzle maintains a stable position. The spoon has become incredibly useful for people with tremors, because thanks to it they were able to serve themselves on their own.
