Pictures of the MG Rover car plant near Birmingham in the UK are frightening and interesting. They were taken by an unknown photographer and uploaded to the network.

The footage shows equipment, car bodies, and consumables starting to deteriorate and rust. Leaving the factory, the former owners left the Rover 75 intact. On the assembly lines, dust and rust were falling.

This has happened a lot in the past. After all, British car companies quite often had to save on something and curtail production in certain regions of the country. This also happened in the case of MG Rover.

At the beginning of the 20th century, this plant also experienced better times. In 1905, about 25 thousand people worked there. The last owner of this place was one of the large Chinese corporations. She planned to carry out a large-scale modernization here, but this did not happen.

The plant is still in operation at the moment. But most of it is closed. The number of employees does not exceed 250 people.

The MG Rover car factory has become a haven for photographers taking pictures of abandoned places. Also, British bloggers often broadcast live or record videos here.

The once industrialized enterprise is gradually turning into a heap of scrap metal. Stop such a process only within the power of wealthy investors interested in its smooth functioning.

Parts for cars produced as at this plant dozens of years ago can be found on the OXO website in the "Auto, Moto" section.
